Supported – When the grief is carried by something greater
The journey of grief doesn't have to be lonely. Supported captures the moment when you realize you are not alone – that there is a strength, a calm, a presence that carries you through the darkness.
A woman wearing a teal dress holds a candle in her hands, the light of her inner hope. Her head is bowed, not in surrender, but in contemplation, in acceptance of the feeling she is experiencing. Behind her stands a white horse – a calm, strong figure who has her back. An invisible support, a protective force that does not demand anything, but is simply there. The background in warm reddish shades reflects the leaves of autumn – a symbol of change, of what we must let go of, but also of the beauty that exists in every transition.
This work is part of the collection Feknutur , inspired by the role of fairies in guiding souls onward – but also in supporting those who remain behind. The support is a reminder that grief does not have to be borne alone. There are forces, visible and invisible, that help us move forward, step by step.
